If your state requires us to collect sales tax on your subscription, you'll see the estimated tax amount reflected in your total at checkout. The U.S. Supreme Court in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc., 585 U.S. ___, 138 S. Ct. 2080 (2018), affirmed that states may require out-of-state businesses to collect sales taxes on transactions in the state even if the business has no physical presence there.

Please note that even if your state did not require us to collect sales tax in the past, your state may still require us to do so in the future (either because the state has changed its rules or Quimbee has met the minimum threshold of sales in the state for tax-collection purposes). In that case, we will send you an email notice that sales tax will be collected going forward. If you have an active subscription, you can visit your Settings page to view your next payment amount with sales tax added.

If you prefer to not pay this updated total, you may cancel at any time by visiting your Settings page.

Please don't hesitate to contact us at support@quimbee.com if you have any questions or need help. Thanks!
